Appointment of convention secretary, Monica Granger, and convention chair, Kevin Tunstall.

Nomination for candidate for Texas State Representative, district 26. Michael Lee revoked candidacy. No candidate nominated.

Nominations/Elections for delegates to State LP Convention
Kevin Tunstall motions to nominate all present as delegates; Guy McLendon seconds. Motion passes – KevinTunstall, David Finberg, and Candace and Danny Sessums are now delegates to the state Libertarian Party convention.

Nominations/Elections for officers of the Fort Bend County LP
Kevin nominates Danny as Treasurer; Candace seconds; motion passes.

Kevin nominates Candace as Secretary; David seconds; motion passes.
David nominates Kevin as Chair; Candace seconds; motion passes.

Vice chair position left vacant until next meeting, due to absence of intended chair appointee, Michael Lee.

Tax resolution moot because will be brought to State Convention.

Other Issues
Fort Bend Fair: Inside booth ($350 + Insurance Deposits + Miscellaneous Fees) is agreed upon as preferable to an Outside booth in the hot weather.

General discussion on: possible July park party; Operation: Politically Homeless at HCC, David garnered 2 Harris County contacts, and several Fort Bend County contacts; mock elections at HCC, synchronized with ISDs and UH; community involvement.
