With the conclusion of the State Convention, significant changes were adopted and we will be making updates to both the bylaws and platform section of the site.

There were new representatives elected to SLEC seats for Fort Bend County. Candace Sessums was elected to represent District 18. Michael Lee & David Finberg were elected to represent District 17. I am confident that all will perform exceptionally in the years to come.Additionally, all officers retained their positions with exception of Vice-Chair. Thanks to the efforts many dedicated people, and a nomination by Jeff Daiell, I was elected to that position.

Though the State Convention is over, there is little time to relax and take a breath. There are campaigns to be organized and battles to fight. I urge you all to consider volunteering time in the upcoming months to assist candidates in their quest for victory.

Our big battle in Fort Bend County is for District 22. I will be posting more on this issue at a time in the near future.
